The popular and attractive Barn Swallow, found worldwide, is the most widespread of the swallows. In the western hemisphere, it winters in South America, but migrates northward to breed over most of North America. A round trip may cover 14,000 miles. They prefer open country, and readily nest on man-made structures. They perform an important economic function as they cruise low over lawns, fields, lakes, and ponds, consuming large numbers of flies, aphids, beetles, bees, moths, mayflies, dragonflies, grasshoppers, caterpillars and other insects.
The Barn Swallows (Hirundo Rustica) have taken over the barn again. They chase the barn cats out of the barn and land on my head once in a while to see who I am. They are busy rebuilding their nests from last year and will soon lay eggs. Flying lessons will begin in about 45 days when the young leave the nest. When not nesting they cruise the air catching flying insects on the fly.

hey are you a bird person or something.my brother is a bird breeder
I have always ben fasinated by animals and birds. I have often wondered what it would be like to be one of them. To see things from their point of view. To feel what they feel. I like to study their reactions with each other and to us. I have often wondered why they exsist as I wonder why we exsist.
Are we just "smart" animals or are we of a higher source?
When do wallabys eat and have sex? They seem to sleep all the time.
I'm sorry. I can't talk now. I'm having sex.
*censored*
Yes.
No.
We have racoons which look like tiny bears with a mask and they don't stink.
We have opossoms (possom) that are about the size of a large barn cat and carry their young in a pouch much like a kangaroo. When the babies are older they venture out of the pouch and hang on mama's tail along her back. Opossoms do have a very musky smell and like to drop out of trees when you least expect it.
We have coyotes (wild canine) that are about the size of german shepard or a little smaller that sing at night which can make the hair stand up on the back of your neck and it drives the local dogs crazy.
We also have deer, and turkey and pheasents and dove and an assorted number of other birds including my favorite the barn swallow.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
define moose
No moose here as of yet but they are in some parts of the U. S.
I think they like a colder climent up twords the canadian/U. S. border. When moose are in rut (horny)they can be dangerous to people if one gets in their way. They can also be a traffic hazard at times.
Here we have small whitetail deer that like to jump out in front of cars at times.
We carry a scraper and some matches in the trunk of the car. When we hit a deer we just stop and eat it there on the road.
We always have a sentry posted on a hill top to spot any moose that should wonder down from the north. We are putting up automatic moose warning modules in December after the Christmas holidays.
What is a chicken and where is THERE?
CRASH TEST WALLABY
Mi dispiace Per piacere ritornato a me Ti amo mia fiore you sono la mia passione nella vita dimentico il passato e comincio sopra.
So THATS what I said.
As to "are we there yet?"
I have no clue.
I didn't know what it said but it looked good. It was a posted comment from someone named "carlo" to a woman living in San Francisco. I couldn't resist - LOL.
When a possom drops out of a tree he usually gives me a sniff and waddles off. Of course it scares the shit out of me. I often wonder what would happen if the possom landed on my head. I don't think possoms have the best eye sight in the world, but they do have a set of wicked looking teeth.
Possoms may have pouches but they are NOT cute. They look like giant hairy rats and have a musky smell that is hard to describe. Every once in a blue moon I will see a pure white possom that is probally an albino. They are considered very rare.
An opossum mother may carry as many as thirteen babies in her pouch. Babies are most common between February and June.
So thats why Dame Edna calls everyone her little possum. I thought maybe she was a little touched in the head. LOL
I always wondered why Dame Edna moved around so well for a "woman" her "age". Also her legs just didn't fit the rest of her. I thought maybe she worked out or something.
LMFAO
